Yesterday we had dinner with Georgia Tech’s director of freshman chemistry labs, Dr. Evans. (He’s the one who looks like a slightly older college student, fourth from the left).
We had a great time at Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand and talked about all kinds of things like what classes to take when, home ownership, Halloween, what it’s like being a professor, and quite a bit more. We also got to sit in a shipping container, and we were all pretty thrilled about this. Who wouldn’t be excited?
This is probably one of my favorite things that Georgia Tech’s SAACS does, and it’s great opportunity to get to know professors outside of the classroom. I highly encourage any other organizations reading this to give it a go. You won’t be disappointed.
